Sandaway Lodge is located 1/2 block from the Main Inn (down Lover’s Lane) and sits on 2 acres of waterfront property with a private beach. The lodge dates back to 1875 and was once an Oxford residence. Most rooms have king beds and water views — some have private porches. There are ten rooms inside the lodge and nine rooms in separate buildings. Guests walk to the inn for breakfast.
All overnight guests of the Robert Morris Inn are able to enjoy this spectacular property with its spacious lawn and Adirondack chairs. From this location there are million dollar views of the Tred Avon River, Choptank River, and Chesapeake Bay in the distance. Enjoy relaxing in this romantic setting, watching the sailboats and waterfowl float by.

Sandaway’s waterfront location is ideal for a peaceful getaway, but is still close to shopping and golf in the St. Michaels, Easton area. Restaurants are also close by in Oxford and the surrounding towns for romantic or casual dinning. However, you may just want to buy a picnic at Oxford’s market, and relax at Sandaway to watch the day fade into a beautiful sunset.
For the ultimate Chesapeake experience ask for the Sandaway Suite. Your first floor bedroom with a canopy king bed, soaking tub for two, and side porch is located at Sandaway Lodge. Your separate sitting room is located on the beach with views of the river in 3 directions. Great sunsets!

This romantic cottage accommodation is what we recommend for guests who want complete privacy.
Situated on the back of the Sandaway property it has a king bed and a reading area. The bathroom
is as big as the bedroom and has an inviting soaking tub for two plus separate shower.
Although it does not have a water view, it does have a "peek" of the river.
