With over 30 years of expertise in the hospitality industry, Ian Fleming owns the successful and award winning Lake of Menteith Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, which has been modelled directly on the Eastern Shore. Much of the hotel's artwork and finishes have been imported direct from Maryland during a sensitive four year refurbishment programme. When not at The Robert Morris Inn in Maryland Ian is likely to found at work in The ake of Menteith, on his farm or fishing.

Ian Fleming was General Manager at The Inn at Perry Cabin in the early 1990's for several years and returned regularly to the region after, both for vacations and also to bring journalists and chefs from the UK for the St Michaels Food & Wine Festivals. He and Mark worked together at both Cromlix House in Scotland and The Inn at Perry Cabin.
