Mark Salter and Ian Fleming acquired The Inn in May 2010. On the purchase both commented; "As one of America's oldest operating Inns of quality and character, The Robert Morris Inn is a truly exceptional venue in one of the Eastern Shore's most delightful locations. Oxford has thankfully avoided over commercialization and remains a truly historic and characterful town and we are privileged to be taking our place at the helm of the Robert Morris Inn as its long standing guardians, Wendy and Ken Gibson, step down after 40 years of outstanding achievement."

The Gibson family continue their long tradition in hospitality with their wonderfully located B & B "Sandaway", a short walk from The Robert Morris Inn. Both work closely together to offer larger parties the unique choice of 34 rooms and formal and casual dining up to 100 persons.
