Private Dining and Outside Catering

We are pleased to present the following banqueting menus to suit every occasion. Drawing inspiration from our brigades blended cooking style of British with American sensibilities and featuring the Chesapeake's great natural larder, these dishes are taken from his various dining menus.

The same sublime quality as our Tavern and Inn dining defines our banqueting. It is a unique feast for the senses.

We offer these same menus in the comfort of your own home. From small intimate parties in your own dining room or kitchen to weddings and events. Alternatively, should you wish, we would be delighted to tailor make the event to your specific requirements. For further details please contact Eve Blackwell, our Food and Beverage Manager.

It is rich, elegant and formal and features four impressive historic murals known as the "The Four Seasons" - the Plains of West Point, Winnepeg Indian Village, Natural Bridge of Virginia and Boston Harbour - were all printed on a screw-type press using 1600 woodcut blocks carved from orangewood and hand painted.

The Tred Avon room seats between six and eighteen in comfort and has magnificanet water views of The Tred Avon River. This is one of the original 1710 rooms of the house and the panelling, fireplace and cornice remain orginal and reflect the period.
